EDUCATION AND CAREER GUIDANCE (ECG)

ECG is about equipping students with the ability to acquire knowledge, skills and values to make informed decisions at each key education stage for successful transition from school to further education or work.

In TPPS, we aim to develop students’ awareness on career interests, strengths in Direct School Admission (DSA) and explore educational pathways throughout their primary school experience.

MySkillsFuture Portal for Primary 5 & Primary 6 students
During Form Teacher Guidance Periods, Primary 5 and 6 students explore MySkillsFuture student portal to help develop their self-awareness and introduce them to a wide range of occupations, including new jobs created in this ever-changing world of work.

Career Week
As Career Week coincides with Earth Day commemoration, students gain a better understanding on the different careers available in the environmental sector and the real-world impact of sustainable careers. Through students’ sharing of their dream careers to a buzzing recess career fair, students gain a better understanding on the different careers available and scope of work in the hope to excite and motivate them in their learning.

Secondary School Talks for Primary 6 students
Primary 6 students are exposed to a variety of secondary schools through talks. These talks provide students with clear and relevant information about secondary schools, including curriculum, CCAs, and school environment.
