Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)
The Ministry of Education provides financial assistance to needy Singapore Citizen students in Government or Government-aided schools so that all Singaporeans, regardless of their financial background, can benefit from the best opportunities in education. ENHANCEMENT TO MINISTRY OF EDUCATION FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (updated 16 Oct 2025)
From 1 January 2026, Singapore Citizen students from households with gross monthly household income (GHI) of $4,000 and below, or per capita income (PCI) of $1,000 and below, will be eligible for the MOE FAS.
